Privacy Policy

This policy explains what rroom collects when you use the app, how that information is used, and the choices you have. Questions should be sent to jacob@rroom.ai.

The short version

We don’t sell your information.
There are no ads and no third-party tracking in the app.
Apple handles every payment. We never see your card.
You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.

1Information we collect

Account. Your email address and password. We never see your password; our sign-in provider stores it in a form that can’t be read.
Profile. Your username, and a profile photo and city if you add them.
Photos. Outfits and clothing pieces you upload, the style tags the app creates from them, and photos you add to store pages.
Activity. Posts, likes, follows, store reviews, and saved stores and lists.
Location. Your phone’s location, only if you allow it. Some features, like nearby stores, need it unless you have rroom+ and choose a place instead.
Subscription. If you buy rroom+, which plan you have and when it renews or ends.

2How we use it

To run your account and show you your wardrobe, posts, and saved stores.
To tag your clothing and match it with stores and outfits that fit your style.
To find stores and weather near the location you’re searching.
To choose which posts are featured on the Home feed.
To turn rroom+ features on while your subscription is active.

3What other people can see

Visible to other rroom users: your username, profile photo, city, posts, likes, store reviews and photos, public lists, and your followers and following.
Only visible to you: your email address, your location, your wardrobe, and your saved stores.

4Third-party services

rroom uses trusted service providers to run parts of the app. They process information on our behalf only as needed to provide their service.

Cloud and database providers store account information, photos, and app data.
AI services analyze uploaded photos to tag clothing and suggest outfits and stores.
Maps and location services provide nearby store information.
Weather services provide the weather for the location you’re searching.
Payment services process rroom+ subscriptions.

Each provider receives only the information it needs for its job and is subject to its own privacy policy.

5rroom+ and payments

rroom+ is an optional subscription, billed through your Apple ID.
Your card details stay with Apple. rroom only learns which plan you bought and when it renews, ends, or is refunded.
To cancel, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. You keep rroom+ until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds are decided by Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

6Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information for as long as your account exists.
You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Manage Profile → Delete Profile. That permanently removes your account, photos, posts, wardrobe, and saved items.
Deleting your account does not cancel an rroom+ subscription. Cancel it in your Apple settings first, or Apple will keep billing you.

7Children

rroom isn’t meant for children under 13. If you think a child has made an account, email us and we’ll delete it.

8Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll also let you know in the app.
